Jon Reeves
Executive Director 

Jon has over 31 years of service to children, youth and families, and a career path that spans from a frontline worker to an Assistant Deputy Minister in Government of Alberta. He started his career as a frontline Child Protection worker/manager and then moved to Chief Executive Officer of several regional Child and Family Service Authorities, Executive Manager, Provincial Director and Assistant Deputy Minister in the Alberta Government. Jon’s expertise has been in using research, best practice and information to develop and implement outcome focused practice. He has extensive experience in transforming practice in complex organizations to achieve the best outcomes.

Jon has worked in a variety of social services areas including early intervention and prevention, child intervention, childcare and disabilities services. Jon has had a leadership role in transforming in governance structure, policy, and practice.  For over 10 years, Jon led the development and implementation of the outcome focused Child Intervention Practice Framework for the Minister of Children’s Services.

Kevin Foran
Senior Director Community Services and Partnership Development

Kevin has been at Hull Services for over 30 years. He started as a CCC in a TCBC program for seven years before spending one year at the Hull School as a Transition Counsellor. Kevin then moved to Family Initiatives (FI) as a Program Coordinator and then into a Program Director role, overseeing several of the community programs including FI and Radisson Group Home. He was also a part of the start up and management of the Patch program, Lasting Impressions, FASD MAPS and High Fidelity Wraparound.

Kevin came to Hull thinking he would spend a couple of years here and move on, but the people that work here and the work that we do to improve the lives of the youth and families we serve is so important to him that it has kept him here all these years.

Dan Hornsberger, FMP
Director of Infrastructure

Dan has been involved with Hull periodically for the past 14 years. He began as a summer groundskeeper right out of high school. In 2012, he moved to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia. He received his Bachelors of Science in Natural Resources Conservation in 2016 and then moved back to Calgary to be closer to family and friends. Quickly upon his return to Calgary, Dan joined the Maintenance department at Hull and became a full-time employee after a year. In 2019 he became head of the Maintenance department and in 2023 also took on leading Hull’s information systems and information technology. Dan is a member of the Calgary Chapter of the International Facility Management Association and has his Facility Management Professional designation. He grew up in Woodbine (5 minutes from Hull’s SW campus) and currently lives in Oakridge with his wife, Sarah and daughter, Lucille.

Marianna Lambropoulos
Director of People and Culture

Marianna is our Director of People and Culture who has worked in Human Resource for over a decade and brings a vast level of experience and expertise to the Agency.

Born and raised in Banff, Alberta, she moved to Calgary to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology at the University of Calgary. Marianna began her career in Human Resources in 2009. After many years in transportation she moved into the non-profit sector and joined Hull Services in 2015. She has proven to be a skilled leader who uses her experience in employee relations, policy development, health and safety, leadership and coaching to help ensure the growth, engagement, inclusion and well-being of all employees at Hull Services. She is passionate about creating a healthy workplace culture and plays a critical role in the development and implementation of HR strategies and best practices that support the organization’s vision, mission and core values.

John Dumonceaux, CFRE
Director of Development and Communications

John is a lifelong Calgarian who got his first strides in Vegreville before moving to Calgary as a toddler. John first learned the importance of giving at the local community centre, where he volunteered many events alongside his parents. They instilled the importance of giving back as Presidents of the Community Association and Curling club. He also learned to drive on their Olympia ice machine!

John has been in the non-profit sector for two decades starting with The Arthritis Society. The journey continued with a twelve-year stint in post-secondary starting in sponsorship and finishing as a Senior Development Officer.

John joined Hull during the peak of the pandemic as a Major Gifts Officer. In September of 2022 he was honoured to take the lead of the Development & Communications team at Hull.

When not working, he currently sits on the Board of AFP Calgary as Board Secretary and Treasurer, puts on his cowboy hat and volunteers for the Calgary Stampede Parade Committee (33 years), Calgary Police Service (35 years), and over 20 years with several of Calgary’s iconic road races.

John is forever proud of his White Hat Award from 1989 and earned his CFRE in 2013. He continues to use running as an excuse to travel and hopes to build on his 47 marathons with one somewhere in Italy soon.

Rob Leong, CPA, CMA
Director of Finance

Rob is a native Calgarian with an accounting designation in CPA, CMA since 1997. He comes with vast experience in finance leadership, accounting, projects, technology, operations, and transition management. He worked in sectors ranging from Oil & Gas (BP, Husky) to IT (IBM) and professional consulting during his 25+ year career having roles in front line accounting, project manager, controller, and CFO. Rob had the privilege working abroad and managed accounting operations in Middle East, China, United States, and India. In recent years, Rob focussed nonprofit organizations as a volunteer board member or staff with vision in helping this vital sector grow and thrive.

Rob joined Hull Services in late 2021. He leads Hull’s financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, risk, treasury, and contract management.

Rob is an active community member and currently volunteers with the Pet Access League Society (PALS) and Signal Hill Community Association’s Vice President and Zamboni driver in Calgary.’

Denise Manderson, MC
Senior Director | Safe Directions, Training and Educational Services

Denise Manderson is a Senior Director at Hull Services, providing leadership for Safe Directions, Training and Educational Services. She has worked at Hull Services for over 25 years, dedicating most of her time in a variety of roles in Hull’s therapeutic school setting. Denise has worked directly with the students, families, child care workers, and teachers  to support the relational and self-regulatory needs of children and youth impacted by adversity, mental health and trauma.

Denise’s passion to have a trauma informed treatment approach for students in a unique school setting has been at the forefront of her work over the past 12 years.  She has worked collaboratively with school personnel and closely with her colleagues at Hull Services to infuse the principles of Dr. Perry’s Neurosequential Model (NM) into a school culture as well as a classroom setting.

Denise has presented the implementation aspects of NM in a therapeutic school setting to various school boards, as well as, various conferences, across Canada and in the US.

Denise completed her bachelor’s degree with honours in human and social development at University of Victoria, and her Master of counselling with University of Calgary.

Emily Wang, Ph.D., R. Psych.
Senior Director, Clinical Advancement & Centre

Dr. Wang has worked in the field of mental health for over 30 years, starting as a front line worker at the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Wang holds a Master’s of Science in Educational Psychology, a Master’s of Art and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Wang has been an invited speaker both internationally and nationally on many occasions, speaking most frequently about the impact of trauma on development to professional groups like educators, clinicians, Indigenous populations, ministries in Alberta and British Columbia and caregivers. She was responsible for the provincial training of the Neurosequential Model (NM) concepts and implementation in Alberta from April 2017-October 2018 and is responsible for the development of the Pathways to Prevention, A Centre for Childhood Trauma.

She currently works as a Senior Director of Clinical Advancement at Hull Services. Dr. Wang was an appointed Fellow of the Neurosequential Model Network between 2012-2020, and is a specialist in Infant Parent Mental Health. She is an Adjunct Lecturer at Cumming School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, and a Sessional Instructor with the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary.  Dr. Wang is an Associate Member at Hotchkiss Brain Institute and the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research and Education at University of Calgary, and as such is involved in several research projects related to child maltreatment and mental health. She specializes in Reflective Practice and Supervision, and utilizes this skill as a tool to support others in leadership roles. Dr. Wang is the 2020 recipient of the University of California, Davis Continuing and Professional Education Parent-Infant and Child Institute “Bruce D. Perry Spirit of the Child Award” and the 2023 Psychologist of the Year recipient through the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (psychologistsassociation.ab.ca).
