Last Will and Testament

The next Wills and Estate Planning Workshop is Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Please use the link https://helping.hullservices.ca/event-wills to register for the new session. We’ll follow up with you individually over the summer and look forward to welcoming you back in the fall.

Having a well-advised and current will is important for everyone. This workshop helps you understand the reasons why, what happens if you don’t have a will, and many of the issues that affect wills and estates. We’ll look at the complex world of an estate plan including the choices you can make involving executors, beneficiaries and trusts as well as an outline of the tax issues associated with an estate.

This is a free presentation. Please pre-register online.

Jonathan Ng, Estate Lawyer, covers all the essentials about sound planning to ensure your wishes are fulfilled and you optimize what you do with your estate. John Tobin, Tax Partner with KPMG, outlines the tax issues relating to estates and provides suggestions to minimize taxes.

If you have any questions, please contact John Phin, Resource Development Director, at: jphin@hullservices.ca or call 403-238-7956.

Even if you can’t join us in September or are only a little bit interested in the topic, let us know and we’ll send you notifications of our future workshops.
