William Roper Hull School is operated as a partnership between the Calgary Board of Education and Hull Services. We offer highly specialized and individualized programs that focus on development of academic and vocational skills for students with behavioural, emotional, social and mental health challenges. It is our conviction that each of our students has the potential to be a productive member of society. Our program offers a therapeutic school setting that meets the academic and treatment needs of individual students ranging from Grades 1 to 12. The goal of the program is to use a trauma-informed and strength-based model to help students achieve success in both their behaviour and academic programs.
Pathways to Prevention is a Centre for Childhood Trauma that was created to achieve the goal of a future free from developmental trauma. The Centre is an international hub for researchers and service providers in the field to engage in creating a community for innovative research, exceptional training, and education, and unparalleled advocacy to prevent developmental trauma.
We are looking for a Full Time Clinician, based upon a 40 hour work week.
Practitioners will provide therapeutic services for children, youth, families and caregivers to assist with safety planning, behavioural challenges, emotional/mental health issues, dyadic developmental psychotherapy, stabilization, risk management, psycho-education, emotional regulation, service planning and permanency planning.
