Fundraise Your Way

Create your fundraiser today and help build the future of mental health for young people and families in Calgary.

So Much More Than a Fundraiser

When you create or support a fundraiser for Hull Services, you will make a difference for the more than 8,700 children, young people, and families who rely on our support each year.

No fundraiser is too big or too small. Whether creating a fundraiser to celebrate a special occasion, honour a loved one, or challenge yourself, you can help make healing possible for children and families.

FAQs

  • Where do funds raised go?

Funds raised go towards the areas of greatest need. This means your gift isn’t tied to a single program or effort. You give us the ability to adapt, grow, and keep support rooted in what works and responsive to what’s needed.

  • Is there a fundraising minimum?

No fundraiser is too big or too small, and we are grateful for all funds raised by the community!

Every dollar you raise helps sustain a model of support that works. One that sees the full young person, supports the whole family, and adapts to each person’s needs. No matter how much you raise, you help make healing possible.

  • Can I designate my fundraising to a specific area of interest?

All funds go to the areas of greatest need, ensuring we can adapt, grow, and keep support rooted in what works and responsive to what’s needed. If you would like to designate your event funds to a specific program, please contact giving@hullservices.ca and we will be happy to direct funds to the area that is meaningful to you.

  • When I make a donation to the online fundraising page will the amount be disclosed?

When making a donation, you have the option to share your donation amount to the public or choose to be anonymous by checking the appropriate box online. If you choose to be anonymous, your donation information is only visible to Hull Services Philanthropy staff, the event organizer/team captain and page creator.

  • Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt for one-time donations of $20 or more. For online donations, e-tax receipts are sent right away. Tax receipts for monthly donations are mailed in February.

  • What is the minimum donation required for a tax receipt?

To minimize administrative costs, paper tax receipts are issued for donations of $20 or greater. For online donations, e-tax receipts do not have a minimum donation.

  • If we receive cash or cheques, where should we give/mail them to?

Please drop off or mail to the following address. Kindly accompany the funds with donor details and your event name.

    Hull Services
    Attn: Philanthropy
    2266 Woodpark Avenue SW
    Calgary, AB T2W 2Z8

  • Can Hull Services provide funds to offset event expenses?

While we can’t provide funding to run the event, we can help you find ways to offset event expenses and fundraise.

  • Can a Hull Services representative attend my event?

As much as we would love to come to every event, we cannot guarantee a Hull Services representative will always be there. Even when we can’t make it, we will still provide tools and supportive materials to help you deliver impact to your participants.

  • Who can I contact at Hull Services with questions?

For additional inquiries please email us at giving@hulleservices.ca and a representative will get back to you.
