Gwen brings experience, compassion, and a strong vision for the future of mental health care at Hull Services

Hull Services’ Board of Governors is pleased to announce that it has named Gwendolyn (Gwen) Cham as the new Executive Director of Hull Services.

With over 25 years of experience in organizational leadership, strategic development, and operational management across the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. She has dedicated her career to improving systems of care for marginalized communities, with a focus on trauma-informed approaches, collaborative leadership, and sustainable growth. Her ability to lead through change with both compassion and clarity makes her exceptionally well-suited to guide Hull Services into its next chapter.

Gwen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Additionally, she has taught as an MBA professor, specializing in Strategy, Change Management, and Human Capital at Touro College in Paris, France.

“I am honoured and absolutely thrilled to join the Hull team. Our mission of partnering with young people and families to build resilience today for a brighter tomorrow resonates profoundly with me. I am fully committed to our vision of fostering resilient young people and families who thrive in communities that prioritize their mental health and well-being. I look forward to expanding our partnerships and collaborations with both existing and new funders and donors as we innovate and inspire. Together, we can shape a brighter future for all.”

Under Gwen’s leadership, Hull Services will continue its vital work, providing trauma-informed programs, compassionate care, and pathways to healing for young people and families. Together, with our staff and community, we will deepen our reach and ensure Hull remains a vital source of healing, growth, and connection for those who need it most.

As we welcome Gwen we also want to express our deepest gratitude to Jon Reeves, who has served as Hull’s Executive Director with compassion, humility, and purpose. Under Jon’s leadership, Hull strengthened its foundation, deepened its impact, and remained a vital source of support and healing for our community. His impact will continue to be felt in the work Hull does each day.

Gwen will begin on August 18, 2025, taking over from Jon Reeves.
