Our kids aren’t asking for new electronics or bikes, they need a comfortable space to live while we work to heal their brains from the trauma they have suffered.
Our homes are important for our own well-being, just as they are for the kids that come to live with us. While we are keeping our kids safe and secure, they also need a physical environment that promotes healing. Some of our spaces are more than 60 years old and that puts limitations on the therapeutic care we can provide to them.
Providing these necessary funds for building upgrades and repair may not feel as fun to give as gifts of toys or other presents, but it is the most impactful thing you can do for our kids.
They don’t have family to spend Christmas with and have already had to deal with so much in their short lives. Your gift will make their home here as comfortable as possible while also supporting the very important therapeutic work we do.
We wish you a happy holiday season filled with comfort, joy and light, and thank you for helping to provide the very same for the kids that call Hull home.
