About Family Initiatives
Family Initiatives works with families at risk of losing their children to an out-of-home placement and as well as those who have had their children removed from the home. The program aims to bring families back together.
Family Initiatives Provides:
- In-home support that works with all family members to help preserve or reunify families.
- Assistance in developing skills that will allow parents/guardians to achieve success in their parenting, communication, conflict-resolution and overall family wellness.
- Collaboration with community and cultural supports to help families maintain progress.
How to Access the Program
The program is self-referred but you may also have a referral made through a professional service.
