Undergraduate & Diploma Practicum Opportunities
We take pride in providing a learning environment for students wanting a career in Human Services and Social Sciences. As a multi-disciplinary organization, we offer practicum placements to students from the following programs, with whom we have established agreements.
- Bow Valley College: Child and Youth Care/Criminal Justice/Social Work/Addiction Studies
- Lethbridge Polytechnic: Child and Youth Care
- Mount Royal University: Child and Youth Care/Criminal Justice/Social Work
- University of Calgary: Social Work
- University of Lethbridge: Addictions and Mental Health Counselling
If you are interested in a practicum opportunity, please submit a resume, cover letter and application form. If you are interested in completing your practicum with a specific program, it is important to include this information in your application.

Graduate Practicum Opportunities:
There are two application windows for graduate practicums:
- May 20 to July 17, 2026 — for placements beginning in January 2027 (limited availability)
- October 15, 2026 to January 15, 2027 — for placements beginning in Fall 2027
Applications submitted outside of these windows will not be considered. At this time, we do not have graduate level placements available that begin in the summer semester.
We appreciate all applications, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
