Hull’s Response to COVID-19, Resources and How You Can Help

As an essential service provider to some of our community’s most vulnerable and at-risk children, youth and families, we remain focused on the mental health, safety and well-being of those we serve, as well as our staff.

Our dedicated and highly trained direct care staff are working tirelessly to continue to support the young people and families we serve, as well as their colleagues. They ensure every measure is taken to mitigate the risk of illness and continue to provide the highest quality of care and therapeutic treatment.

While we recognize that this is a difficult time in the Alberta economy, most recently due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the necessary cancellation of several of our upcoming fundraising events has resulted in a significant loss of revenue, which is critical to the care of the young people and families we serve. Funds raised at these events are vital, as they are often the only source of funding available to support many of Hull’s services and initiatives such as:

Our Interdependent Living Services program which supports youth and young adults who may have developmental disabilities, mental health concerns, and social, emotional and behavioural challenges.

Early intervention and prevention programs which work with young people and families before concerns develop and once concerns are identified. These programs reduce the risk of escalation.

Keeping our buildings safe where our children and youth live.
